Current trading hours are Tuesday to Friday from 8.30am to 4pm and Saturday 8.30am to 3pm. A huge opportunity exists for the successful purchaser to extend trading and greatly increase profits with very little effort. The business currently trades 47 weeks per annum.
Cafe Latte sells a superb selection of freshly roasted coffee, either as whole beans, or ground to customer specifications. Quantities range from 250g up to 1kg bags. Customers regularly comment on the excellent quality and taste of coffee produced in house.
The business displays art works for sale by (predominantly) local artists. This has proven to be an excellent arrangement as the art is changed out regularly, there are no upfront purchase costs and the art keeps the business looking fresh and interesting for regular customers.
The business assets have been meticulously cared for with any required repairs carried out immediately and replacement items purchased to maintain a high standard of presentation and operating excellence. It is considered by the owners to be an undesirable strategy to allow the standard of plant, equipment and fittings to deteriorate and as such considerable effort has been made to ensure assets are cared for and asset value is maintained.
There are six staff employed by Cafe Latte and they have expressed their interest in continuing employment with the successful purchaser. It is also understood by the staff that there may be an operational requirement to change the rosters and work hours when the business changes ownership.
The business has won the Restaurant & Catering - Blue Mountains / Central West Award for Excellence - Cafe Restaurant twice and has regularly been a finalist. This is a tribute to the dedication and hard work that the employees put into their roles.
