Orange has some of the best wine makers and gourmet food producers in Australia.
The Orange Region Winefest is held annually in October.
A Festival celebrating Orange winemakers and their best reds and whites. During Winefest you have an opportunity to enjoy a wide and unique range of Orange cool climate wines as well as great regional food, art and music.
Winefest events include - the Orange Wine Show; Wine-tastings; Making your own wine; Wine bottles painted by local artists - on exhibition and auctioned ; Great music; Fine local food.
The Food of Orange District (F.O.O.D Week) is an annual event held over 10 days usually in April.
The Orange and Cabonne areas are known as 'The Food Basket' of NSW and each year F.O.O.D. Week supports local produce and 'fine food' showcasing the producers, their products, the local chefs and restaurants, and other enterprises that provide the region with its great reputation for fine food and wine.
Come visit during F.O.O.D week and we guarantee you an entertaining and gastronomical time that you won't soon forget.
