The Orange Lapidary & Mineral Club Inc. is a 'not-for-profit' organization that operates purely for the benefit of our members with the objective of keeping the skills alive that we have acquired over the years.

We will be displaying some carving, Facetted stones, Scrimshaw, and also demonstrating some Gem faceting, chain making and many other items of interest.
Orange Lapidary & Mineral Club meets -
EVERY Wednesday -  9.00am - 12.00noon  AND  7.00pm - 9.00pm
The Cultural Centre, Sale Street, Orange
(at the Sale Street entrance to the Woolworths’ car park)
  • Everyone is welcome  -  our annual fees are:-
 
Families  $30.00 (this includes juniors)  :  Singles $20.00
  • We have occasional field trips to places of interest for the purpose of gold fossicking and gem hunting.

  • There are dedicated instructors to help anyone who is interested in our craft and there are tutors for the junior members of our Club.

  • We facet gemstones, make cabochons, do Silverwork and set stones, we also do Scrimshaw, Chain-making and carving. Many of members can help you identify minerals, fossils and various other precious and semi-precious stones.
