Helps develop rhythm, strength, good energy flow and breathing techniques.
WEAPONS:
Is the instruction of the ancient art of 'Kobu-Jutsu'. Weapons taught include bo (6 foot pole), katana (sword), knife, sai and many more.
Excellent for control and modern day self-defence.
KICK-BOXING:
Great to learn kicking and punching techniques as well as counter techniques.
Includes bag work, speed balls and mitt work. Fantastic for fitness.
TE BU:
Martial Art moves to music.
Great for fitness, toning, co-ordination and fun.
YOGA:
A slow paced class designed for relaxation, gentle stretching, breathing and overall toning of the body.
MUSCLE STRENGTHENING:
Low impact, isometric exercises. This class doesn't involve weightlifting, but rather consists of holding positions and performing exercises that will create core strength in not only the larger muscles, but in smaller, hard to target areas.
Great for muscle toning.
RED MAN PANIC ATTACK:
This class implements our state of the art 'Red Man Suit' which allows students to test their self-defence techniques in various simulated 'reality' situations such as restaurants, at home etc.
GRAPPLING/JUDO:
These classes are centred around the arts of wrestling, ju-jitsu, judo and ground fighting. They teach how to fight off the ground, on your back, taking your opponent down to the ground and much more.
This is an important part of self-defence as 85% of fights will end up on the ground.
LITTLE TIGERS:
This is a class specially designed for children ages two and a half to five. This class teaches the basics of karate, focus, discipline, co-ordination and memory retention.
It is great fun for the kids and very educational at the same time. It lays a great foundation for school.
STRETCH & KICK:
This is a low impact class consisting of stretches to greatly improve flexibility in people of all skill levels and muscle control.
