ABOUT US
In the 1980's Orange had no Tenpin Bowling Centre, no cinema actually no indoor facilities at all.
The Orange Tenpin Bowl came about one wet cold winters day when someone said I wish we could go tenpin bowling, and the concept of the Orange Tenpin Bowl was born. We opened our doors in September 1983 as an independent Centre, family owned and operated. We pride ourselves in giving service with a genuine smile and always trying to give our patrons an enjoyable experience, whether they're having a friendly fun outing or participating in many of our leagues or tournaments.
It gives us great pleasure in being involved in the local community by involving the Orange Tenpin Bowl in the School programs with Port-A-Bowl, school sport days, activities & competitions for people with special needs, local fundraising events and many family & friend outings. The Orange Tenpin Bowl is the place to go and an ideal venue for Birthday Parties & Social / Corporate Groups, as well as a fundraising venue for your organisation.

Orange Tenpin Bowl also runs adult, junior and seniors leagues as well as a variety of tournaments throughout the year.
We are owned by Akdov Pty Ltd who also owns Tenpin Bowling Centres in Dubbo & Chester Hill Sydney. If you are visiting these places, feel free to drop in and bowl, you'll be very welcome!

LEAGUE BOWLING
- Tenpin bowling, like any other sport, has structured competitions called leagues that play every week. League affairs are conducted by officers elected by members, or by bowling centre management and staff.
- A league organises a season so teams (1-5 bowlers) play every team at least twice according to a draw. At the end of the season trophies, prizes and certificates are awarded, usually at an end of season party!
- League bowlers pay lower rates for bowling and receive special practice rates. New members are always welcome. Most social leagues are handicapped, so a team's competitive chances are not affected by a new member with a low average. Therefore, don't be worried by your average game being low - you will be surprised how many current league bowlers have lower averages!
